Gédéon BANSWE is an experienced Information Management Officer with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data analysis. Currently serving World Health Organization since October 2023, Gédéon is responsible for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of health-related data. Previous roles include providing information management services for iMMAP, contributing to the Ebola Response, and supporting health cluster indicators. Gédéon's expertise extends to spatial planning and land use analysis during tenure with UN-Habitat, as well as GIS and biodiversity monitoring at World Wildlife Fund. Gédéon's academic background includes a degree in Crop Production from Université Evangélique en Afrique, where Gédéon also instructed courses in GIS and Remote Sensing.
