Heraa Hajelsafi

Heraa Hajelsafi serves as the Executive Officer at the World Health Organization within the Division of Health Emergency Intelligence and Surveillance Systems since October 2022, supporting Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu. Prior to this role, Heraa held various positions at EY from February 2012 to October 2022, progressing from Senior Consultant to Senior Manager. Heraa's career began at Thomson Reuters as an Analytic Consultant from April 2011 to March 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management with a focus on Public Finance from New York University, and a Post Baccalaureate Research Education Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Psychiatry, Pharmacology, Systems Therapeutics, and Neuroscience.
