Julien Durand currently serves as the SVP Chief Compliance Officer and Chairman of the Board for Sanofi Switzerland since 2021. With a robust background in compliance and health innovation, Julien is also a Global Expert on Medical AI and Frontier Health Technologies at the World Health Organization and Chair of the Health Innovation Commission at IFPMA since 2017. Previous roles include VP Global Compliance Strategy and Technologies at Takeda, and Executive Director Compliance at Amgen. Julien has considerable experience with AstraZeneca in various compliance leadership positions across the Americas. An accomplished academic, Julien holds multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge and is pursuing a PhD in Laws at the University of Lucerne.
