Mayur Mandalia

Mayur Mandalia is an experienced professional currently serving as a Technical Officer in Programme Management at the World Health Organization since February 2018, focusing on enhancing collaboration with the African Union and UN Economic Commission for Africa, along with contributing to COVID-19 response efforts in strategic planning and evaluation. Previously held roles include providing technical support on national health strategies in the Health Strategies and Governance Unit at WHO AFRO (August 2016 - December 2017) and engaging parliamentary involvement for diabetes advocacy at the International Diabetes Federation (February 2014 - July 2016). Early experience includes various roles in health and community support, such as Health Trainee at the International Committee of the Red Cross and home care worker at Help at Home, Inc. Mayur holds an MBA from the University of Leicester and a Master of Public Health from the University of Warwick, complementing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same institution.
