Head Of Unit - Learning Design And Production - WHO Academy at World Health Organization

Melinda Frost is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Head of Unit for Learning Design and Production at the WHO Academy, as well as for Learning Solutions and Training within the WHO Health Emergencies program. Since January 2019, Melinda has led critical initiatives in risk communication and community engagement, notably during the COVID-19 response. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where Melinda directed risk communication efforts in China, oversaw global health communication strategies, and developed distance learning programs for public health professionals. Melinda holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Public Health in Global Public Health from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications from Ithaca College.
