Nicole Sarkis

Nicole Sarkis serves as a Senior External Relations Manager and Project Manager at the World Health Organization since October 2011, specializing in managing World Bank funded projects in Yemen related to health, nutrition, COVID-19 response, and pandemic preparedness. Previous roles at WHO include Senior Writer, Technical Officer, Program Management Officer, Editor, and Health Systems Consultant, contributing to governance reforms, emergency medical team initiatives, and health workforce planning in the Pacific Region. Nicole's earlier experience includes teaching English at AEON Corporation and working as a paralegal with the Department of Justice and Attorney General. Nicole holds a Master of Health and International Development from Flinders University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England, and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern History (Honours) from Macquarie University.
