Rakesh is the Founder and CEO of World Informatix Cyber Security, a US-based cybersecurity company that has gained recognition from governments, multinational agencies, and large corporate entities worldwide. Asthana has led the establishment and expansion of World Informatix Cyber Security, which now operates globally with clients in five continents.
Additionally, Asthana is the Founder and CEO of World Informatix Advisory, a specialized IT Advisory company. With over 32 years of experience in IT and development at the World Bank, they have been instrumental in successfully implementing complex business transformation programs at various organizations and locations. Asthana's expertise includes strategic IT consulting, project implementation, information security, and managing the IT group of the World Bank as the Deputy CIO, where they held various responsibilities like strategy development, governance, financial management, risk and information security, program portfolio management, and IT procurement/sourcing functions.
Rakesh Asthana's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which they obtained between 1974 and 1979.
