Daisuke Hara

Daisuke Hara is the current Director of Finance & Platform at World Innovation Lab. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Mobility Manager for SoftBank Group International (SBGI) from February 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for creating the fundamental policies and infrastructure to enable employee mobility including immigration, individual / payroll tax compliance, relocation and expansion into new territories. Daisuke also advised of mobility related topics to SoftBank's portfolio companies in areas of policy and operations.

From December 2009 to February 2019, Daisuke worked as Tax Manager at PwC. During their time there, they were responsible for advising clients on a variety of tax compliance and planning matters. Daisuke also assisted clients with tax audits and controversies.

Prior to their time at PwC, Daisuke worked as a Senior Associate at Zeirishi-Hojin PwC from January 2006 to December 2009. In this role, they advised clients on Japanese tax matters. Daisuke also worked on marketing research projects for the Endress+Hauser Group in September 2005 and October 2005.

Daisuke Hara has a certification from the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent.
