Jean Shi

Director, Corporate Innovation at World Innovation Lab

Jean Shi is currently the Director of Corporate Innovation at World Innovation Lab. Prior to this, they were the Director of Business Strategy and Operations at Cryptic Labs, a startup accelerator and research institute focusing on solving fundamental problems in security, privacy, and decentralized and distributed trust. Jean has also worked as a Program Manager at Plug and Play Tech Center, a Founding Member at Lovefoodies Inc, and a Digital Strategist at Microsoft.

Jean has extensive experience in launching joint ventures, conducting market analyses and financial modeling, negotiating deals, and sourcing and due diligence for startup accelerator programs and investment opportunities. Jean is skilled in project management and has a proven track record in successfully leading and growing businesses. Jean is a strategic thinker with a passion for using technology to create positive social impact.

Jean Shi earned their Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School. Jean also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from The University of Tokyo. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Economics and Japanese Language Study from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics.

They work with and Zack Osumi - Senior Director, Corporate Innovation. Jean Shi reports to Takeshi Komatsubara, Partner, Corporate Innovation.
