Tamara Newquist

Tamara Newquist is an experienced event designer and community engagement coordinator, currently working as an Independent Contractor since 2003, where Tamara architects thematic events that enhance audience engagement through various elements such as design, promotion, and operations. Roles include managing community campaigns for Kishwaukee United Way, serving as a Certification Instructor at W.I.T.S. World Instructor Training Schools, and previously overseeing brand and marketing initiatives at NB&T. Tamara has an extensive background in academia as an adjunct faculty member in recreation and physical education at Western Illinois University and Rockford University. Past positions also include outreach and community project coordination at Rockford Dance Company and the establishment of a performing arts division at Kishwaukee Family YMCA. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Parks Administration from Western Illinois University.
