Matt Haakenstad, PE, CEM, currently serves as the Sr Director/VP of Electric Services at Kinect Energy Group, a role held since December 2014 following the company's rebranding from US Energy Services, Inc. With extensive experience in energy efficiency, prior positions include Associate Director in the Energy Practice at Navigant Consulting, where management of large-scale evaluation projects was a key responsibility. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles at US Energy, managing teams focused on energy solutions for commercial clients, and working as a Senior Consultant at Summit Blue Consulting, involving data modeling and project management for energy initiatives. Educational credentials include an MBA in Strategic Management from the UMN Carlson School of Management, an MA from Hamline University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
