Nicole Isaac leads the content safety domain for the Strategic Response for Emerging Regulations in Knowledge and Information at Google. Before Google, she managed the International Strategic Response team in the office of the CEO at Meta, focusing on global risk mitigation, and served as senior director of North America policy at LinkedIn. Isaac also served in the White House as special assistant to the president for Legislative Affairs and as deputy director of Legislative Affairs for then Vice President Biden. She spent more than five years on Capitol Hill where she worked in the House and Senate.
Isaac founded a social impact accelerator called Code the Streets to increase resources to inner-city communities through technology. She serves on the United States Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad. She has a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University. She completed a master of studies degree in international human rights law at Oxford University and has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University. She was born and raised in New York and is of Jamaican and Costa Rican descent.
