Brian Cover

Brian Cover currently serves as the Controller at the World Meteorological Organization since March 2019, leading Finance, Internal Control, and ICT teams to support stakeholder needs related to weather, climate, and water. Prior to this role, Brian Cover held several positions at the International Atomic Energy Agency from March 2012 to March 2019, including Chief of the Finance Division and Section Head (Controller) in Finance and Accounting. Brian Cover also worked as a Senior Financial Policy Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, focusing on implementing International Public Sector Accounting Standards. Earlier in the career, Brian Cover was the Director of Client Services at Resources Global Professionals and an Audit Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Brian Cover earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with an Accounting Concentration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, graduating in 1994.
