William Karesh

William Karesh is an experienced professional who currently holds various positions in different organizations related to wildlife health and global health. William has been serving in roles such as Ex-officio Panel Member at the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense, Executive Vice President at EcoHealth Alliance, and President of the Working Group on Wildlife at the World Organisation for Animal Health. Additionally, William has held positions at the IUCN, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Veterinarians International, and Wildlife Conservation Society. William Karesh holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and a B.S. in Biology from Clemson University.
