Sakinah Ummu Haniy

Sakinah Ummu Haniy is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Coordinator for Food, Land & Water at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia since August 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Coordinator, Communications Project Lead, and Communications Assistant at WRI. Sakinah also worked as a Multimedia Reporter at Rappler from September 2015 to July 2018 and held research positions at PT. Multimedia Internetindo Group and the Center for Election and Political Party. Additionally, Sakinah was a member of the Expert Team for the Public Relation and Publication Board of the Indonesian Parliament. Sakinah holds a Master of Arts in Media and Journalism from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Indonesia, complemented by a high school diploma in Social Studies from SMA Negeri 8 Jakarta.
