Catherine Beal

Catherine Beal is a dedicated research analyst currently focused on climate adaptation and resilience at the World Resources Institute since September 2021, where previous responsibilities also included serving as an engagement coordinator. Catherine has diverse experience in research and communications, having completed a graduate research fellowship at CIAT, which centered on enhancing climate information services for marginalized coffee farmers in Vietnam. Additional roles include coordinating government relations and policy at Kellen for the American Medical Rehabilitation Provider’s Association, contributing to digital content and outreach for Bedsider, and supporting communications for various nonprofit organizations. Catherine holds an MSc in Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security from the University of Galway and a BA in Communications and Peace & Justice Studies from Pace University.
