Katherine Shea

Katherine Shea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within the food, land, and water sectors. As the Director of Monitoring Evaluation and Learning for the Food Land and Water Program at the World Resources Institute since April 2015, Katherine supports teams in tracking progress and integrating lessons to maximize impact. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Manager, where Katherine initiated and led an internal impact evaluation across three countries. Katherine's expertise extends to the World Food Programme, where responsibilities included leading monitoring and evaluation efforts and designing projects aimed at improving food and nutrition security. With educational qualifications including a Master of Public Administration in International Development from Cornell University, Katherine has a strong foundation in social psychology and economic development.
