Laurie Lewis

Laurie Lewis is a communications specialist with extensive experience in the fields of sustainability, energy transition, and cultural engagement. Currently serving as Communications Specialist Global Energy at the World Resources Institute since April 2025, Laurie focuses on enhancing the organization's digital presence. Previous roles include Senior External Communications Manager at Metabolic and Communications Manager for the Circular Food Systems project in Rwanda. Laurie has also led communications for the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy at WRI and directed strategies for East Sussex County Council. With a background in consulting and a strong foundation in art history from the University of Cambridge and the University of Bristol, Laurie has successfully managed communications across various sectors, including the arts and sustainability.
