Nicole Sands

Nicole Sands is a seasoned professional in digital marketing and project management, currently serving as the Digital Marketing and Project Lead for Global Digital Communications at the World Resources Institute since June 2022. Prior to this role, Nicole co-founded and co-owned Searchlight Yoga, where the studio received accolades as the best yoga studio in Gainesville. Nicole has held key positions such as Digital Director at Solar United Neighbors, establishing a digital program that enhanced engagement and support, and Deputy Digital Director at Greenpeace, where Nicole's efforts significantly expanded the organization's membership and funding. Additionally, Nicole has experience in managing web content and technology strategy, as well as conducting research in genetics. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Florida.
