Nirmala Mathew

Nirmala Mathew is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and research within the fields of sustainable development and urban transport. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation at the World Resources Institute since February 2024, Nirmala previously held the position of Senior Manager at Samhita from March 2023 to February 2024. Nirmala's career at New Concept Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. spanned a decade, during which various roles were undertaken, including Senior Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Nirmala earned a Master's in Development Practice from the University of Denver and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai. Additional qualifications include a Certificate in Child Protection from Harvard University and a Certificate in the Control and Elimination of Visceral Leishmaniasis from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
