World Science Festival
Derek Breuer is a seasoned Senior Animator and Video Editor at the World Science Festival since August 2022, where the focus is on creating engaging content that simplifies scientific discoveries. In addition to current work, Derek has been a Visual Effects Artist and Video Editor since June 2018 for Sesame Workshop, producing captivating content for children's entertainment. Previous roles include Senior Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer at Dotdash Meredith from October 2020 to August 2022, as well as senior positions at Meredith Corporation and Time Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Early career highlights include editing for the World Science Festival and launching the "Studio G" project at Wyoming Innovation. Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications with a focus in Film and Television from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Featuring outstanding talent and novel production techniques, our programming brings the most far-reaching and transformative ideas, discoveries and perspectives to a broad general audience. WSFs live events in 13 countries have garnered an in-person audience of over three million and its digital, educational and broadcast programming has received over 200 million views.
