World Science Festival
Grace C. Liu serves as the Founder, Mentor, Researcher, and Instructor at Research to Empower, which provides free research education to underrepresented communities, impacting over 100,000 individuals in 400+ schools worldwide. As a Global Keynote Speaker and Advisor, Grace promotes STEM, gender, and education equity through engagements with organizations like the United Nations and the Global Conference on Women's Studies. In addition to research roles at Kingston University and the New York Academy of Sciences, Grace holds advisory positions at the National Youth Leadership Council and serves on the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth. Furthermore, Grace is involved with the Riley's Way Foundation and Civics Unplugged, nurturing civic leadership among young leaders. Grace's educational background includes prestigious institutions such as Yale, Duke, and Princeton, alongside participation in advanced programs to enhance skills in mathematics and robotics.
World Science Festival
Originally known for our groundbreaking week-long live festivals placing science at the cultural core of New York City, the World Science Festival (WSF) has grown into an innovative multi- media organization that produces original content straddling science, technology, the arts, media, performance, journalism and education, with formats ranging across vibrant discussions and debates, to inspired collaborative works of theatre, film and music. Featuring outstanding talent and novel production techniques, our programming brings the most far-reaching and transformative ideas, discoveries and perspectives to a broad general audience. WSFs live events in 13 countries have garnered an in-person audience of over three million and its digital, educational and broadcast programming has received over 200 million views.
