Niyathi Kukkapalli

World Science Scholar at World Science Festival

Niyathi Kukkapalli is a Mathematics and Computer Science student at Princeton University, expected to graduate in 2028. Niyathi conducted research in Spectral Graph Theory at the University of Delaware under the guidance of Prof. Sebastian Cioaba from May to September 2023. Niyathi also participated in the prestigious Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS) at Boston University from June 2022 to August 2023, where only 60 participants were selected worldwide from a highly competitive pool, with an acceptance rate of approximately 5%. During the first summer at PROMYS, Niyathi focused on proof-based Number Theory. Prior educational experience includes attending The Charter School of Wilmington from 2020 to 2024 and Princeton University from September 2022 to May 2023.
