Joe Yeong 杨宝诚

Joe Yeong has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as a Fellow at the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) starting in 2023. Joe also holds the position of Group Leader at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at the Singapore General Hospital as a Principal Investigator in Anatomical Pathology and as a Research Immunopathologist. In addition, they are the Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at ImmunoQs. Joe has also held editorial positions at World Scientific Publishing and Elsevier, and has served as an Advisor at the National Cancer Centre Singapore. Joe is a Joint Principal Investigator at the Singapore Immunology Network and holds the role of Co-Lead for Diagnostic (Education) at the SingHealth Cell Therapy Center. Currently, they are an Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.

Joe Yeong 杨宝诚 received their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Joe then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cancer Immunology at the National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2014. After a break, they enrolled at Western Sydney University in 2018 and completed a Master in Medicine (Pathology) degree in 2019. Currently, Joe is studying at the Royal College of Pathologists, pursuing a Fellowship in ImmunoPathology, which began in 2017 and is expected to end in 2023.
