Derrick Porter

Derrick Porter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Host for Music and the Spoken Word with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since June 2024, Derrick also contributes as a Board Member for both World Trade Center Utah and Beauty Industry Group, where Derrick has led as President and CEO since January 2007. Previously, Derrick held the position of President at Mentors International from 2015 to 2017, significantly impacting poverty alleviation efforts, and served as General Manager at Porter Brown Distribution from 2003 to 2007. Derrick holds a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Sales from Weber State University.
