Iraqi National Committee's Member For The WTO Accession at World Trade Organization

Amanj Raheem serves as the Cabinet Secretary and Chief Legal Advisor for the Kurdistan Regional Government since November 2002, with extensive experience in overseeing significant governmental legal issues and constitutional matters. Raheem has held various roles within the KRG, including Senior Legal Counsel, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, and Director of Legal Affairs for the Council of Ministers. Additionally, involvement with the World Trade Organization includes being a member of the Iraqi National Committee for WTO Accession. Educational qualifications encompass a Ph.D. in Law from Sulaimanya University, an Executive Education Certificate in Public Administration from the National School of Government in London, an MBA in Oil and Gas from CWC School for Energy, and multiple law degrees, including a Master of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Raheem also has a background in academia, having served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Sulaimani from September 2000 to August 2006.
