Anais Wardak

Anais Wardak is an experienced professional currently serving as a Secretary in the Accessions Division at the World Trade Organization since July 2020. Responsibilities include managing logistical coordination for Accessions Working Party meetings, drafting bilingual communications, and maintaining the Director's calendar. Prior experience includes roles as a Translator, Public Affairs Officer and Executive Assistant at the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the WTO, and various positions in communications, project coordination, and analysis. Anais holds a Master's degree in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University, along with additional qualifications in Political Science and International Reporting.
