Anastasia Smirnova

Anastasia Smirnova has extensive work experience in the field of international trade and dispute settlement. Anastasia is currently employed as a Dispute Settlement Lawyer at the World Trade Organization since September 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at the World Trade Organization, including Dispute Settlement Lawyer in the Rules Division from June 2020 to July 2021, and from August 2019 to May 2020. Anastasia also served as a Junior Dispute Settlement Lawyer in the Rules Division from September 2018 to July 2019.

Anastasia also worked as a Legal Support Officer at CITES in 2018. Before that, they worked at the World Trade Organization as a Dispute Settlement Researcher in the Legal Affairs Division from July 2017 to March 2018, and as a Legal Intern in the same division from January 2017 to June 2017.
