Ivy Zhang

Communications Officer at World Trade Organization

Ivy Zhang has a diverse work experience. Ivy started their career in 1998 as a Chief Assistant and Researcher at the Los Angeles Times. Ivy then worked as a Senior Researcher at the Wall Street Journal, Dowjones from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, they interned as a Research Assistant at the World Trade Organization. Ivy later became a Consultant at the International Labor Organization in 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Ivy worked as an Associate Director and Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. In 2017, they joined the United Nations Office at Geneva as a Conference Organizer. Lastly, since 2018, Ivy has been working as a Communications Officer at the World Trade Organization.

Ivy Zhang completed their Bachelor's degree in International finance and trade from Fudan University between 1994 and 1998. Ivy then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental policy from the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2006. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree as a Global Leadership Fellow from the World Economic Forum between 2008 and 2011.
