Jessica Hermosa

Jessica Hermosa has extensive experience in communications and economic research. Jessica started their career as a Trade Reporter at BusinessWorld Publishing Corporation, where they covered international trade and foreign investment developments. Jessica then became a Corporate News Editor at the same company, supervising a team of reporters and managing relationships with contacts. Jessica also worked as an Economic Research and Communications Consultant before joining Ernst & Young Philippines (SGV & Co.) as an Associate Director, Markets & Client Service. In this role, they provided market intelligence and project management for business development initiatives. Currently, Jessica works at the World Trade Organization as a Communications Officer, where they provide information to journalists, conducts press briefings, and drafts trade advocacy materials. Jessica is also a member of the WTO social media team.

Jessica Hermosa earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from the University of the Philippines, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Jessica then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Political Economy from the University of Birmingham, completing their studies in 2013.
