Communications Officer at World Trade Organization

Melissa Begag has a diverse work experience in communications and information roles. Melissa began their career at the French embassy in Mexico as a Communications Intern from February 2009 to June 2009. Melissa then joined the United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service as an Information Intern from March 2010 to June 2010. In 2010, Melissa also interned at the World Trade Organization (WTO) as an Information and External Relations Intern from November 2010 to April 2011. Melissa continued their tenure at the WTO as an Information and External Relations Assistant from July 2011 to March 2013. Finally, Melissa became a Communications Officer at the World Trade Organization in April 2013 and is currently in this role.

From 1998 to 2005, they attended Cité Scolaire Internationale de Lyon, where they obtained a Baccalauréat International with an American option, although the field of study is not specified.

In 2007-2008, Melissa attended UC Irvine, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in the Political Science Department.
