Omar Rocchi

Omar Rocchi has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Omar began their career in 1995 as a Police Officer at Arma dei Carabinieri, where they were responsible for law enforcement and investigation police activities. Omar also handled logistics and security for sporting events. In 1997, they worked as a Field Officer and Logistics Unit member at the Temporary International Presence in Hebron. In 1999, they joined the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) as an International Police Officer and served until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at NATO as an Officer at the NATO Office of Security, where they coordinated visits and works. In 2005, they joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) as a WTO Officer and worked until 2011. During this time, they gained experience in international trade matters. In 2011, they joined the IDLO - International Development Law Organization as an Advisor in the Administration & Security Division. Finally, in 2013, they rejoined the World Trade Organization and held various roles, including Chief of Service for the Conferences and Visits Service and Head of Unit for Logistics.

- From 2023 to 2024, Omar Rocchi attended Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi and obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.

- In 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi.

- From 2017 to 2018, Omar Rocchi attended Cambridge Education Group and received a Certificate in Legal Studies, General.

- Between 2009 and 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi.

- In 2011, Omar Rocchi completed the UNDSS Certificate Program SCP17 in Security Management at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

Additionally, they earned the Security Certification Program certification from UNDSS in October 2011.
