World Trade Organization
Riza Arfani serves as a Chair-holder at the World Trade Organization since 2010, managing trade-related curriculum development and research within the Center for World Studies and the Department of International Relations at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Riza has been a lecturer at UGM since September 1993, teaching courses on international political economy and various related topics. Since August 2018, Riza has been the Director of the Institute of International Studies at UGM, coordinating research and advocacy programs across multiple clusters. Additionally, Riza has been the Director of the Center for World Trade Studies UGM since April 2019, leading research and outreach activities focused on international trade. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. candidacy in International Relations from Ritsumeikan University, a Master of Arts from Syracuse University's Maxwell School, and a Bachelor's degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
