Gloria Fluxà Thienemann

Gloria Fluxà Thienemann serves as Vice-Chair and Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the World Travel & Tourism Council since November 2023, representing leading global Travel & Tourism companies. In addition, since 2006, Gloria holds the position of Vice-Chairman and Chief Sustainability Officer at Iberostar Group, promoting sustainable tourism practices. As Vice-Chairman of Fundación Iberostar and Patron and Chairman since 2009, Gloria advocates for the welfare and education of vulnerable groups, particularly children. Gloria is also recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and serves on the International Advisory Board of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Additionally, Gloria is a Board member at Endeavor Spain, which supports high-impact entrepreneurship, and was briefly on the Board of Directors at Grupo ACS in 2016. Academic credentials include studies at Harvard Business School, IMD, and Villanova University, with a major in Business Administration.
