Erin Bateman

Erin Bateman is an accomplished Program Director at the World University Service of Canada (WUSC - EUMC), where responsibilities include overseeing volunteer cooperation initiatives in Uganda, South Sudan, and Sri Lanka since January 2020. Prior to WUSC, Bateman served as a Senior Program Manager at Global Affairs Canada, focusing on the West Bank, Gaza, and Israel. Additional experience includes a role as a Program Implementation Consultant at RENEW, developing a Project Implementation Plan for a business growth project in Ethiopia, and extensive experience at Cuso International in various roles, including Program Development Consultant for East Africa and International Placement and Recruitment Manager. Bateman holds an MSc in Development from The London School of Economics and an Honours BA in Anthropology/International Justice and Human Rights from McMaster University.
