Paulette Hammell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as Senior Program Officer for Recruitment and Mobilization at the World University Service of Canada since November 2021, Paulette previously held the position of Coordinator of Volunteer Services at Hospice Care Ottawa from April 2016 to November 2021. Paulette's career also includes roles such as Program Coordinator for the Health Equipment Loan Program at the Canadian Red Cross, Founder of Core Event Management, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care, Project Manager at Mice Exhibition Services and Prime Strategies, Marketing Event Coordinator at Fastlane Technologies, and Event Coordinator at Corel Corporation. Paulette holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University, a Gerontology certification from Algonquin College, and additional qualifications from the YMCA/YWCA Ontario Self Employment Benefit Program.
