Lead, Project Design And Development at World Vision Canada

Laura Snyder has a diverse work experience within World Vision organizations. Laura started their career at World Vision Canada in 2007 as an Intern/Junior Project Officer, where they contributed to program management in Rwanda. Following their internship, they continued working with WV Canada on various short-term contracts in different teams. In 2012, they joined World Vision Burundi as a Business Development Specialist, focusing on grant acquisition and strategic partnerships. Laura returned to World Vision Canada in 2013 and held several roles including Regional Program Officer, Design and Development Manager, Program Manager, and Manager of Development Programs. In 2020, they briefly served as Acting RAM Director at World Vision Senegal. Currently, they are working as the Lead of Project Design and Development at World Vision Canada.

Laura Snyder received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies from Canadian Mennonite University in 2005. Laura then completed a Master of Science degree in Climate Change and Development at SOAS University of London from 2018 to 2021.
