Melanie Gillespie

Melanie Gillespie is a seasoned professional in public health and policy, currently serving as the People Leader for Technical Excellence in the Programs & Policy Division at World Vision Canada since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Advisor and Manager within the Immunization Services Division at the Region of Peel from March 2021 to October 2023. Melanie previously held various positions at World Vision Canada, including Lead for Monitoring, Evaluation & Research and Team Lead for Monitoring and Evaluation from 2013 to 2021. Early career endeavors involved serving as a Research and Policy Analyst and Physician Outreach Specialist at the Region of Peel, as well as Manager of Information Resources at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Public Health from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts (MA) in Community Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University.
