Selby Mong has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role at World Vision Canada, Selby serves as the Vice President of Digital and Information Technology / CIO. Prior to that, Selby worked as a Technical Advisor at the same organization.

Selby Mong earned a High School Diploma from Loyola High School from 1989 to 1994. After that, from 1994 to 1996, Selby attended CEGEP - John Abbott College, where they obtained a DEC in Natural Sciences. Finally, Selby studied at Concordia University from 1996 to 2000, earning a B.Sc. in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Selby Mong also obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2017.
