Sumair Mirza has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Sumair currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at World Vision Canada since November 2018. Prior to this, they founded Convergent Labs, a digital disruption agency, in April 2016 and led it until April 2019. Sumair also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Element Fleet Management from July 2014 to April 2016 and as the Vice President in various departments from July 2013 to July 2014. Before that, they held several leadership positions at GE Capital from 2003 to 2013, including Senior Products & Services Leader, Strategic Initiatives Leader, Director/Senior Operations Leader, and Marketing Leader.

Sumair Mirza has a diverse education history. Sumair has completed several executive education programs and obtained certifications in different fields. In 2015, they completed a program at the Harvard Business School Executive Education focused on Disruptive Innovation. In 2021, they attended the MIT Sloan Executive Education program for a certification in Digital Business Strategy. The following year, in 2022, they completed a program at the Harvard Kennedy School on Driving Nonprofit Performance and Innovation. Sumair is currently pursuing a program at the Harvard Business School Executive Education on Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management, which is expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to these programs, they have also obtained certifications in Advanced Product Management from Product Faculty and Product Management from Pragmatic Institute.
