Anita Tong

Anita Tong has extensive experience in finance and administration. Anita is currently the Chief Finance and Administration Officer at World Vision Canada, a role they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance & Planning at the same organization starting in August 2020. From March 2019 to August 2020, Anita was the Director of Planning and Efficiency Innovation & Stewardship at World Vision Canada.

Before joining World Vision Canada, Anita worked as the Director of Financial Planning & Corporate Performance at the organization starting in 2006. Prior to that, they held the role of Sr. Manager Finance - Sales & Marketing at MTS Allstream from 2003 to 2006. Anita began their career as a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked from October 2001 to November 2004.

In addition to their professional roles, Anita has served as a Board Member of Raising the Village from October 2010 to May 2013.

Anita Tong obtained their MAcc in Accounting from the University of Waterloo between the years 1996 and 2001.
