David Holmes

David Holmes possesses over three decades of experience in software development and quality assurance, currently serving as the Director of Software Development and Integration at World Vision since September 2012. In this role, David leads teams focused on enterprise system integration leveraging the Microsoft Azure platform and the development of REST web services. Prior to this, David spent over 13 years at Microsoft, ascending to the position of Principal Test Manager, where responsibilities included managing engineering tooling and solutions for the Developer Division and contributing to the Application Lifecycle Management vision. David's career at Microsoft began as a Test Lead, overseeing a significant team in testing Visual Basic, and David also held earlier positions at Mentor Graphics as a Test Engineer. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Business from Oregon State University.
