Mila Kimbuini Malonga is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in journalism and public engagement. Currently serving as the Regional Digital and Content Manager at World Vision since April 2023, Mila supports the strategic development of the regional communication and public engagement plan while leading West Africa's Public Engagement strategy across nine national offices. Prior to this role, Mila worked at BBC News from 2014 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing the social media strategy for BBC Afrique and creating diverse content. Additional experience includes positions at Radio Okapi, Gender Links, and RTG@, where Mila focused on news presentation, article writing, and rights-related storytelling. Mila holds a degree in Information Science and Communication with a specialization in Broadcast Journalism from IFASIC.
