Phyo Haymar Than Htun

Phyo Haymar Than Htun is a seasoned professional in disaster risk reduction and resilience programming, currently serving as a Trainer and DRR Program Advisor at the Humanitarian Assistance and Resilience Program since May 2019 and as the Disaster Risk Reduction Department Manager at World Vision since April 2017. With extensive experience in leading capacity-building initiatives, including inclusive community-based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR) training focused on children, Phyo has also held significant positions at Plan International, ActionAid, and World Vision, contributing to training development and community engagement. Phyo holds a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Economics, Myanmar, as well as a Diploma in Political Science from the Myanmar Institute of Peace, Security and Political Science.
