Robert Nelson

Robert Nelson has served in various risk management and compliance roles at World Vision since January 2009, currently holding the position of Senior Director, Risk & Compliance. In this capacity, Robert oversees the Global Compliance function and the Investigations Management function, while leading the global Enterprise Risk Management program. Robert's experience includes previous roles as Director and Advisor in Enterprise Risk Management, where responsibilities encompassed developing and implementing risk management frameworks and managing global incident management systems. Prior to World Vision, Robert worked as an Administrative Assistant in Global Internal Audit and held positions at Harvest International Ministry and Bridges to the Nations, where work involved financial oversight and coordination of events. Robert holds a Master's Degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Vanguard University of Southern California.
