Sarah Bearup

Sarah Bearup serves as the Chief Operating Officer for South Asia Pacific at World Vision since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in humanitarian and development sectors. Prior roles include First Secretary and Principal Humanitarian Advisor at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where responsibilities spanned various advisory positions related to humanitarian efforts. Sarah has a notable leadership background with World Vision in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as significant contributions as Country Director at Hagar International in Cambodia, focusing on human rights. Educational qualifications include an Executive Program for Not-for-profit Leadership from Stanford University, a Master's in International Development from Deakin University, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from Monash University.
