Johannes Schmiester is a Senior Project Manager for Water Stewardship at WWF Germany since April 2016. Prior to this role, Johannes served as a Project Assistant at seecon gmbh, focusing on Integrity Management and Business Development. Johannes also interned at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, conducting field research on Sustainable Entrepreneurship within Zambia's water and waste sectors. As a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich, Johannes contributed to industrial management and supply chain projects. Johannes's earlier experience includes serving as a Division Controller at Lufthansa Technik AG, where responsibilities included business development and compliance oversight, as well as dual studies in Business Administration at HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration. Johannes holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from the University of Basel.
