Erik Cottrell

Erik Cottrell is currently serving as a Client Services Executive for Google at World Wide Technology since August 2023, where leadership of a technical team of four engineers is directed towards achieving Google's business objectives. Previously, Erik held various roles within the US Army from June 2013 to September 2023, including Data Center Operations Officer for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, managing IT infrastructure across multiple networks, and Information Systems Engineer for the 52nd Ordnance Group, where coordination of communications support for over 700 personnel was managed. Additional military experience includes serving as Brigade Operations Officer for the 82nd Airborne Division and as Operations Officer and Platoon Leader for the 101st Airborne Division, overseeing training and operations for thousands of personnel. Erik also completed a DoD SkillBridge Fellowship at NetApp in mid-2023. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Political Science from The University of Akron.
