Carmen Ferri

Carmen is the Community Engagement and Communications Officer for the Alliance for Affordable Internet at the Web Foundation.

Prior to joining the Web Foundation, Carmen worked as a Communications Assistant at the Association for Progressive Communications. She previously interned twice with the Association for Progressive Communications as a Policy Analyst and as a Communications Researcher.

She holds an M.A. in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam, where she specialised in New Media and Digital Culture. She also has a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Sociology and Cultural Studies from Maastricht University.
