TERRY MACKO is senior vice president for marketing and communications. His responsibilities include managing the base of more than one million WWF members and over eight million activists in the United States. Terry oversees the creative expression and messaging for WWF across all media and advertising channels, ensuring WWF remains the world’s most recognized and loved conservation brand.
Prior to joining WWF, Macko served in a variety of senior level consumer marketing roles at Columbia House, Verisign, and MCI. Throughout his career he has been recognized by Advertising Age as a top marketing leader in the US. He led pioneering and innovative work in internet commerce over 20 years ago with the launch of 1-800-MusicNow, the world’s first online music retailer. Macko received a BA in marketing from The George Washington University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
